Ideas have a way of taking root, parachuted like dandelion seeds in the wind. When William Wallace originated an idea to highlight Williams Lake’s fantastic brass bands and choirs at a public event, not even he expected the idea to catalyze the music community in the way it has.
Budding recording artists take notice – homegrown audio ace Brandon Hoffman is teaching a class for you starting next week. Starting Tuesday April 25th at 4 pm, Brandon will guide 10 lucky students through the hows and whys of home recording on the cheap.
CACWL has two workshops for young folks making music this April and May.

Soundscapes launches Saturday, March 11th with a vocal workshop with Juno Award winning Pharis Romero!
We like to think we’re pretty serious about entertainment here at the CAC. We heard from you that you wanted more live shows, and we’re delivering. Now, you might wonder about timing two shows one after the other. It’s the way booking busy artists goes sometimes, and well, as the saying goes: when it rains, it really does pour.
